Just thought I’d throw up the resolution I found for my networking issues on Windows 7. I’ve had these non-stop for as many weeks as I can remember. Originally, they were happening via my wireless connection (which uses generic Broadcom drivers). So I figured that maybe the drivers were to blame, and I switched to [...]
Posts Filed in "Other"
(My apologies this rant is long and should probably be called “The EA Nightmare“) As many of you are aware, yesterday was the launch of one of the more anticipated games this year: The Sims 3. So, being a typical gamer, I had to pick it up (and the fact that my girlfriend is nuts [...]
I was one of the lucky few around here to get my hands on a BlackBerry Storm on Friday. Let me start by saying, I didn’t purchase (before or now) an iPhone simply because of AT&T’s coverage where my parents live. I came into this having never owned a BlackBerry before. I’ve only owned one [...]
I’ve been thinking about an interesting concept, and potential project lately. Most blogs have a “Blogroll”, or a list of other blogs that are typically friends or colleagues. A lot of these bloggers also subscribe to those blogs with RSS readers, or whatever tool suits them. My concept was to socialize this aspect of the [...]

PasteThat Ideas
In response to a few suggestions from users, I had been thinking of ways to improve PasteThat. While I feel it’s a superb engine for what it does, I think it can be expanded. I’ve considered adding authentication and library features. What this would do is allow users who want long-term data available to sign-up [...]
I found a couple bugs tonight on PasteThat, by the time I was done correcting them I had redesigned the site, updated the syntax highlighter (strangely enough, which now supports 1/3 the languages it used to), and added several new features.
Installed Firefox 3 Beta 3 here today at the office. “Shiny new fixes” they said. So I load it up, and obviously none of my addons work again (so I have to run them through my converter), and I attempt to hit Curse. “Connecting to www.curse.com…” for a minute. Ok, wtf, is the website down? [...]
As many people have recently, we experienced our internet constantly crashing while using the PS3. It turned out there were quite a few “solutions” via Google. At first we tried DMZing the router. We tried setting it between wired/wireless. Tried removing security and just locking to MAC addresses. Etc.. Recently, I found another solution posted [...]
