So does that mean Curse is planning on becoming a WoW database? Not sure if you are allowed to answer such a question or not, but the idea does interest me as I was/am the lead developer for wowlib.com. This is not to say that, I am looking to compete with Curse, or am trying to take anything from Curse. I am interested because I still think Wowhead has remained fairly competitive, especially since they are currently trying to expand their development efforts and development team.

They're one of the largest WoW sites which is where our primary audience is, and we've been expanding into other areas (beyond Downloads/News/etc) for WoW, database is one of those areas.

Hey David,

Just read this post, as late as it may be to the news, but I was wondering about what you mean "Guess this means we have one less competitor." Is Wowhead considered a competitor to Curse? Or do you have another site that you work on/for that is a direct competitor?
